- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings;
and the years of thy life shall be many. - A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. - The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility.
